we were going to get my son the new dsi for xmas this year as we have the ds and he like it but is broken. but now we dont know whether to get him the dsi or the sony psp. please can anyone tell us what each one offers, which is best, pros and cons etc. thanks
Depends on his age really. PSP has better graphics and has more games for older children (12+). If he's under 12 I'd go for the DSi as it has more 'fun' games. Also, all his DS games will work on the DSi but if you get the PSP you'll have to get brand new games for it and get rid of the old ones.
Finally, find out what his friends have - he will want to play games against them using local wireless connection or even online (which PSP and DSi both do now). If they have a different console from him, he won't be able to do it.
im 24 and have both the psp and ds, i think the ds is better, the games are better and just generally using the ds is easier. graphics aint everything, they just make them look better but if it a poor game it wont matter. the ds has lots more games and most of them are better than the ones on the psp some are the same.
go for the ds, if you alrerady have one and he plays on it you cant go wrong.
