it's not a crossword or quiz but i'm looking for where I can find prices of things in 1984 for a silver wedding speech- e.g. beer, cinema ticket, petrol etc etc etc

I thought I had already answered this but it must have got lost somewhere I suggest you go to you local library and ask to look at the newspaper archives for that year. If they havent got them they should be able to point you in the right direction. Good luck with the speech
