Why don't the following no longer work?

* To italicise: italicise
* To bold: bold
* To underline: underline
* To label a hyperlink: my label

in the old days you could have coloured text and everything.... you could even have secret text by printing it in white and everyone else had to highlight it to see what you'd been saying. Magic days.

Its very clever when you think about it.!"Slow the site down for a few months,Take the lines away...etc...Add a couple of jelly people...the site suddenly speeds up..you get the line's back and youve got a brand new site...well apart from the above mentioned which we will all get back has a xmas gift.What a cunning plan.(:O)

I'd like lines between the answers again. I see some Abers seem to have them, but I don't and it's sometimes confusing ( like the tiny fonts here, - only in the 'Type your answer' box- or must I get new specs?)

Yes, Vinny's right, downloading IE8 has worked for me, it's much better all round & not only on this site.

I do have IE8 but it won't give me lines, why should it make a difference? This tiny print is a pain. When the answer appears it's not so small.
