I already have the docking station for the remotes but it doesn't charge them properly (i get a couple of mins use for hours of charging) i currently use energizer ultimate batteries at £3.49 for 8. I have considered buying a battery charger and batteries but there are so many to choose from and i'm not sure if i need high drain or low drain ones and if i buy the wrong ones will they still work?

I got 2500mAh batteries with charger from Argos for about 20 quid and it works just fine. I also found the docking stations etc that you can buy for the wii don't work very well.

Thanks bushbaby_de, i'll have a look on the argos website, can you recommend a make?
We have a MadCats docking station and it works great. We have used it since last Christmas and the kids have been on for a couple of hours sometimes with no loss of charge. Are you trying to charge them with the grips on? Are the controls properly docked? If you are doing everything correctly and it is isn't working, I would return the dock as faulty.

Hi annie0000, i think its a madcats docking station i have, not sure what you mean by grips, the docking station seems to change colour when i put them in, i take the sleeves off so the metal parts touch. I can't return it as i bought it nearly 2years ago.
I would recommend NOT to buy the uniross ones as they seem to wear out quite quickly. I am pretty sure Argos only sell the energiser ones now, which are great. Surprisingly my Tesco Value batteries and charger are also excellent!
Hi, I think I call what you call the sleeves, the grips. When I put mine in, the light at the front goes red if it needs charged and then turns green when they are fully charged - sometimes you need to move it slightly to get the red light to come on - I guess that is just getting the contacts spot on. As I say, I have never had any bother with it and it only cost about £10.
