Any recommendations for a front loading washing machine up to 5kg load with a fast and economical wash (less than 1 hour) present one is on the blink....thanks.

I recently replaced ours with a Servis caress 1600A  and from day one I have been pleased to say it has been simple to operate, economic on power, water & liquid, fast and quiet, and in our house used up to four times daily, and not complaining! The last one, whirlpool, leaked after 6 mth and sounded like a hundred aeroplanes when spinning, died at 4 years old.

the new hotpoint silver washing machine (wma46) my mum has had a hotpoint machine for 6yrs and has never broke down the quickest wash on mine is 26 minutes but depends on what your budget is
