Hi there - this is a serious question please!  Will a "Ladies' toy" set off the security alarm in a suitcase or will they be able to see what it is via X-Ray?

take the batteries out, to avoid detection, or better still take your husband or boyfriend with you.

It's unlikely to set off an alarm in your suitcase - and they will see it, but they see so many I doubt they'll bat an eyelid!  Don't worry, you're never going to see these people again. However embarassed you may be - it's still better to have the item scanned in your case, than to set off the 'pass through' alarm and have to put it in the little tray, and have it handed to you afterwards!

LOL - Yes, thank you for your answers :-)  I'll take the batteries out - my boyfriend is coming with me! and I'll keep in in the suitcase and go red  :-P

I just took a flight..... during which I read that 32% of Uk ladies (and 47% of Japanese!) have such 'toys'. Therefore security will have seen it all before.  Put it in your check in luggage and forget about it.  You do not see the x rays, so no need to go red.  Don't keep it in your hand carry luggage and it will be fine
