I am the treasurer of gairloch golf club. The machine I am using is a Dell Inspiron laptop running Vista Business Edition. I have installed IE8, restarted pc, downloaded all updates, restarted pc. The club banks with Bank of Scotland business banking but when running IE8 I cannot get the business banking sign on screen from the BOS home page. IE8 opens two other tabs with blank pages which just hang. To access our bank account I have to fallback to IE7.
Can anyone come up with a good reason why this should happen?
By the way on my home PC also a Dell, I am running IE8 with Vista Home Edition and CAN access the golf club bank account. I just don't understand why the laptop should behave differently from my home desk top.
Any ideas?

Have you tried it with IE8 in compatibility mode? (look for the little icon to the right of the address bar)
