ATV2

I have an LG television and a Thomson digibox, I must have accidently pressed the wrong buttons [ im sliver surfer and hubby is reg blind so he cant help] and I cant get ATV 2 which is compatable with the digi box .How do get the tv back on to ATV2 pls, cant find any manuals .

What's the make and model of your digibox Dee.

If you can't tell us that just press the button marked "Menu" and select something along the lines of "Scan for channels" or "first time installation" or similar. Let the box go though the procedure and you should find ITV2 on channel 6.

Just read you said your box is a Thomson. If it's a Thomson DTI6300 Freeview PVR then the retune method is:-

Press "Menu", then "Set-up", then "Scan for channels". Leave the box to finish doing that and all should be OK. If it's not a DTI6300 let us know what it is.

many tks its not ITV2 its ATV2 once on that everything works, going to follow your instructions now, will let you know, many thanks

ps It says on side of my didgibox near the press buttons

we did not take up the Top Up Tv option

Dodger 666 many thanks, have now managed to get it from DTV in the right hand corner when you first switch on back to ATV2 when u switch on, guided by hubby [ who says though he has lost his sight recently he is not a moron] and your instructions we have managed to get it back to normal. many thanks for the help.

I see what you meant now Dee. What you had done was accidently switched over the input to your TV from the digibox to the TVs own tuner.

I am still confused by ATV2 though. Did you mean AV2? If so all is clear.

yes Dodger666m I did mean AV2, sorry to have confused you, but imagine how confused I was !!!!!! many thanks indeed, everything is back to normal.
