I lost my license a few months ago for drink driving, and my fiancee's a learner. Is it OK for me to sit next to her in the front passenger seat if there's another qualified driver in the car, or do I have to sit in the back?

The qualified supervising driver should sit in the front.
I'd say you're in the back..

"If you want to practise your driving with an accompanying driver, the accompanying driver must be over the age of 21 and must have held (and still hold) a full licence, in the relevant vehicle category, for three years."
"if there's another qualified driver"

There isn't another qualified driver, just one and that's not you at the moment.

So, lets get this straight, you don't have a licence but think you can supervise a learner?

Well only an idiot loses his licence to drink driving I suppose ...................
