speaking as a fan of underwire (except its a kind of machine washable plastic, more durable, but less attention at airports (snigger),) I find them to be more comfortable than the type that have a band under the cups to stop you falling out of the bottom of the bra.

Underwired bra's do have one downfall. A couple of months ago my tumble dryer blew up. The engineer who came out to fix it, found that one of my bra wires had lodged itself in the works & caused a short circuit. It cost us �45 for repair, so that was a very expensive bra in the end!

Yes definitely more oomph! I call it scaffolding & in my case it does make small mountains out of molehills. (Please note that they didn't used to be recommended if you were pregnant, not sure what the thinking is nowadays. Apparently they dig in & cause problems).

When I first went online (we used a dinosaur powered generator) most of the others online were male, lady contributors were a novelty and the mores at the time were such that on some sites, it was considered amusing to harrass them. I got into the habit of choosing gender non specific usernames and the habit has stuck. These days of course, the web is a much more civilised place and no one cares where you are on the gender spectrum, and a good thing too!
