How does this atat thing work?
3 Answers
I asked a question the other day about biscuits http://www.theanswerb...k/Question898995.html and then half way down the second page a link was put to a poll about the subject http://www.theanswerb...k/Question859080.html showing the results of the answers I assume. How does this work, is someone going through and inputting peoples answers or is it done automatically somehow?

No best answer has yet been selected by flobadob. Once a best answer has been selected, it will be shown here.
For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.If you look at the dates of the posts in that survey you'll see that the Editor asked a question similar to yours back in February. ABers were asked to submit their replies in a similar way to this survey:

The input is automatically collated (and converted to percentages) by AB's computer system. While a survey is still ongoing you can view the current poll figures by clicking on 'View full statistics'. Once a poll is closed the results are transferred to the question box as here

and the poll is archived. It was such an archived poll that was linked to by one of the contributors in your thread.
