I think the insect only gets to the toxin by ingesting it while cleaning itself.

I;ve got those sticky disks on the window, they are gross when full of flies, but they work.

I bought a midge blaster last week, its like a small tennis racket with wires and it fries them on contact.

it works from 2 AA battery's, and cost £1.99 from one of those cheap Charley Shops in the high street, think something like DH or HD.

When the flies etc make contact with the wires you see a spark, he-he.

Does it get rid of cats when they start to annoy you? It is pretty difficult to use a laptop when there is a cat on the keyboard.
