car insurance for learner drivers

My daughter is over 25 and has a provisionsl license, can she insure a car in her name and have a named driver as the fully licensed passenger/supervisor? I would add, her daft B/F has 6 points and drives a mercedes. His insurance has gone through the roof!

Yes - but the daft bf probably not your best option as a named driver :-)

yes but they also want to know all the in's and out's about the named driver so it'll be loaded whatever.
