I have had an item I sent, damaged in the post, and I refunded the seller straight away. If a buyer is not happy (as you obviously aren't), then the solution is not to leave bad feedback, but to contact the seller immediately. If they dont respond appropriately then you open a dispute on eBay which is a very simple matter, they can initiate a refund via PayPal. Bad feedback should be absolutely the last resort. It's not eBay you should be grr-ing at, it's your careless seller for using inadequate packaging, - for something like that, I would have used a box, probably nothing smaller than a shoebox.
