Why Can't the GPO Post my Plusnet Router? How Big Is It?
5 Answers
My letterbox measures 10" wide by one and a half inches deep. I was told by Plusnet that routers were "designed to fit through letterboxes". None-the-less, I ended up with the dredded "Sorry, you were out" card through my door.
I then arranged a re-delivery to a nearby shop which is open all day from very early on. I ended up with another card through my door and I have since had another failed re-delivery.
Does anyone out there have a Plusnet Router that they can measure for me (in inches)? Better still, if you still have the original box, can you measure that?
Yes, I know that the GPO are worse than useless.

Plusnet normally use BT voyger 2110 routers as far as I know, they are Approx. dimensions (mm): 190 (L) x 130 (W) x 40 (H)
(or about 7.5(L) x 5.1(w) x 1.6(h)
So just to high to fit through your letterbox, sounds more like you should be moaning about misinformation from plusnet than the post office.

Dont forget about the packaging it will come in. Most IT Equipment is fragile and is therefore well packed with foam or bubblewrap etc within a box so maybe that would be too big to squeeze through a letterbox?
I had a Plusnet router many moons ago but cannot remember having any difficulties having it delivered, still was a while ago now!
