Nokia 1110

I notice Amazon are selling Nokia 1110 on Virgin Mobile pay-as-you-go. I was thinking of buying one as a spare phone should mine break - will it work with a Vodafone sim card?

U need to get it unlocked. Costs about a tenner down your local market. Do a Google search for "Remote Sim Unlocking"

My father bought a Virgin Mobile PAYG 1100 before Christmas at Carphone Warehouse. Although supplied with Virgin SIM starter pack he was told the phone would accept his old Orange SIM and it did, suggesting it is unlocked to all networks.

I don't know if all of the current batch of 1100's are SIMfree but it normally costs you �30 of airtime for Virgin to unlock their phones.
