Allergy?
7 Answers
For 2 days now I have been having itchy, runny nose and eyes, horrendous sneezing and congestion, yet I dont feel ill with it, its just getting me down now, I have had antihistamines but these have not helped, I dont think its a cold as I dont have a temperature etc, however I bought a new perfume (expensive) last saturday and I think i may be allergice to it ? I put some of this perfume on this morning but am going to stop using it for a few days to see if my symptoms are alleviated, if the perfume is to blame what should I do now ? Complain to the manufacturer? Get a refund ? I assumed most perfumes would be hypo allergenic ?

If you bought it from a large store or reputable retailer they may accept it or exchange it if you explain what has happened.
As far a perfume being hypoallergenic; you can be or become allergic to anything. My OH has an allergic reaction similar to your's if he gets plain water up his nose! IE, when swimming.

You don't necessarily have to have a fever with a cold.....also-you may or may not have hayfever, just as you may or may not be allergic to something in the perfume. Allergies can appear out of the blue. If you do get a refund,it will most likely be as a gesture of goodwill...not because the perfume has any proven connection with your symptoms.
