I have seen at different times people asking what a certain song was on a certain advert. The other day we were watching something at dinner time and as usual my six year old was asking every conceivable question about every incident that was happening on the programme (Coach Trip by the way). Anywho I had the subtitles turned on so that I could get some gist of what was being said. Then when the advertisements were on I noticed that at the start of certain adverts which had music the subtitles actually gave the name and the artist of the song. Hope this helps someone.

Well there are several methods I use, first put the advert title into youtube then gradually redefine until hopefully success. Another way is to search for sites such as http://www.whatsthattune.co.uk/all.asp. Also as a las resort if you dial 2580 from your mobile and then hold it up to any source of music it will then text you the title and artist of the song/track playing
try this working link http://www.whatsthattune.co.uk/
Or i try and use the shazam app on my android phone to get a title and artist
