I'm with AOL and I notice that when I'm on line I can see who is in fact currently on-line with AOL (they are members too).
Is there a way of hiding the fact that I'm on-line? and for that matter 'not on-line'? I've realised that people will know when I'm on holiday as I won't be clicking into my account...

If you could see who was also online with AOL UK you'd have a list of hundreds of thousands of people on your screen!

I assume that you must be referring to AOL's messaging software, AIM Express, If so, see here:
