The saga continues!! I worked for half an hour this afternoon getting two of the transport bolts out of the back of the machine. Blimey, were they tight?? Anyway, I've got two out but my question is... is the grey plastic collar meant to come out too and be discarded? The caps they supplied don't fit if you don't take the collars off.

Without meaning to sound like a smart a$$, I would have thought the instruction manual would contain the information about installing and preparation?
if not, tell us the model and I'm sure we can find out somehow :-)
lol naz you a smart a$$ NEVER!!
Hi chrissa1. If memory serves, these collars are about 7-10cm long? If so, yes they come out too. They are there to keep the 'innards' of the machine from banging into the 'body' of the machine while in transit.You can discard them but they are handy(along with the bolts) if you ever move the machine any distance.
<sigh>

WellNaz, the instruction id a bit ambiguous. I've got the 7 - 10cm bolts out but is that all that comes off the back of the machine?
It's a Beko WM6134W.
