combi 3 years old, pressure set by engineers at 2-3, no problem, until at 7am boiler vibrating and making very loud noise, stopped vibrating, pressure up to nearly the red line.. stopped vibrating, no water from outside overflow, why would the pressure jump up on its own, could it be because of the weather ??? TIA

If it's nearly on the red you need to let it down. With mine it was only a matter of turning a knob to get it down. Nothing complicated.

i know where the screw is te reduce the pressure is, im just a big woose, ill get someone to help me with it thanks all.
You need to do it.

If you continue to run at that pressure (just underneath vent pressure) you will soon need a replacement expansion vessel. Around 80-100 quid. Let some pressure out of the vent valve by turning a little, or bleed rads to get down to maximum of 2 bar hot.
