4 Answers
Hi all.
I downloaded a DVD recently and once it had done i opened the folder to find lots of files called ' VTS_01 ' etc. I managed to play segments of it ok so, i fired up Cowen Jet audio and open the ' Convert ' tab.
Now i have all the files as winamp files but they're all still seperate. How do i put them all together so that i can open the file and it just er ... plays lol !
Many thanks all.

There will be Video_TS.IFO and BUP, and VTS VOB's and any set numbers.
The Menu structure is inside the Video_TS, Info/region/link settings/protection inside the IFO, and Video/Sound/Subtitles inside the VOB's and these will play in sets in number order.
As Chris says, it is possible to join VOB sets with variable results. If there are subs/different languages, it may ell get screwed up.
So it's not a good idea to post DVD format sets in this way. Better as an ISO or avi/mkv rip.
Any Direct Show player on a PC will play VOB's if the correct codecs are installed (DScaler/FFDShow/AC3 filter) Or use VLC player.

Thanks for the help guys, but i must say i'm still confused. It's a music DVD that was downloaded. I've tried the prog you suggested Chris, but it doesn't seem to do much and from what i can see in the directory the only thing that running the cowen convert thing was duplicate the files as winamp files but with the same name _TS etc.
AAAhhhhh !!
Thanks again

If there is a VOB set, they could be re-rendered into a DVD. Nero will do this without a full re-render.
You would have been better off downloading the mkv (h254) if available for best quality.
Then convert.
I don't know what all this is about Winamp .. Althouigh it will play video, it isn't the best thing to use.
