Just written cheq with Miss * ******** so it's inital and then surname, is that ok or does it have to be full name and surname?

Sorry I have just got blank and these are important, Thanks in advance

thats fine.

My nan once put Miss (maiden name) on one for me. i got my mum to pay into her bank instead lol
Should really be the account name .. whatever that is.
But banks are sually happy if they can recognise and link the name to the account.

thanks it is the same as the account name so should be fine
Just about every cheque I have ever received payable to me has been addressed to initials plus surname.

thanks
I don't think it matters. You could make it out to Miss Amanda Jane Smith, Miss Amanda Smith, Miss A J Smith, Miss A Smith, Amanda Jane Smith, Amanda Smith, A J Smith, A Smith, Miss Mandy Smith, Miss M Smith, Mandy Smith M Smith, and it should still be payable into her account.

BTW You should never sign yourself Mrs Amanda Smith, as the Mrs bit technically makes it not valid.
