Disability Badge - For Mother in Law
16 Answers
My MiL uses a walker and pretty soon will be wheel chair bound. She does not own her own car.
When we go up to visit we take her out in our own car, but we are finding it difficult as we cannot park in a disabled space.
Are we able to apply for a disabled badge only for use when we take my mother in law out.

It also lets you have free parking in lots of places...check the car park notoce first though... you can also park on double yellows as long as you are not causing an obstruction or danger to other road users...you CANNOT park where the pavement is marked with vertical double yellows..this is a loading area....
