because they think if you only want to insure it tp, you don't care about your car and therefore will drive like a loon. Like all insurance it's based on the risk. the company have probably found that people who insure tpft have more accidents/claims

Half my life I insured 3P F&T because I could not afford more. Then they start, in affect, forcing you to buy FC by making the difference negligable or even more expensive. I don't buy the excuses, I think they must get more profit from FC and can't be bothered with 3P F&T.
