That's extremely cheap - what do you get for your money, what sum insured?

Looks dirt cheap to me

But some companies throw it in 'free' with buildings insurance. May be worth investigating
Go with it. It's about a quarter of what I pay.

Just basic cover £15525
I'd keep it if I was you, I pay £27 pm.
The area you live in comes into it as well. Some area's are higher risk.
Himself paid about £140 for contents insurance (with about £60k contents) but that included travel insurance for all of us for the year (which would have cost about £120 for just one holiday). Is through M & S.
Yes, and whether you have any security features, type of house etc - and whether you include money cover, legal fees, liability insurance in your package. £96 p.a. is very cheap - do you think your contents sum insured is high enough, if you had to replace everything - all white goods, clothes, CDs, TV, bedlinen, carpets, etc? Some people are very surprised at the true replacement value of everything behind their front door.

Btw I have my buildings and contents cover with the same company, one policy - if anything happens, there is then no argument about which policy covers those items, it's all the same policy.
