How's Your Day Been?

I went out last night and had the worst Indian meal I've ever eaten (or not eaten in this case) and drank a prodigious amount of wine and stayed up until gone three this morning.

Today I still have a hangover and I am having to find an insurance company that will cover me for acts of terrorism whilst on holiday as things have been getting a bit lively where I'm heading to! In between ringing insurance companies I am trying to do some invoicing and answering the phone and door bell which seem to be going non-stop today, they know my head is thumping!

I should have declared today a duvet day.

Hope your day has been better....

Went to buy the paper at 11, was greeted by a drunk 'Sandra, hellooo hen'
OK, my name isn't Sandra.

Went to the supermarket, man talked to me at length about bread. Completely random.

Am glad to be back home :-)
I've heard that having a big shot whilst hungover would bring you on the mend.

My day is a lazy one today. I'm off today. Did all the house work yesterday when I got in from work, so all of today is mines to do as I please. And I'm doing nothing - just yapping on the phone to my sisters and hanging out on here.

Hope you recover from your hangover soon. Have some some club soda. I've heard that too should make you feel better.
Nice and lazy....oh has gone away to visit his son down south for a few days..get to sit no dinner to make....blissfully quiet...
Indian Meal? Maybe a few horses have made the long trip to that faraway land.

Alba, you must have a friendly face to welcome all this attention.....from loons ;-)

Society, I think I'll declare tomorrow a lazy day although a serious amount of housework needs to be done as some friends have invited themselves to dinner on Saturday.

Murraymints with all you've had going on you deserve a lazy day/week/month!
Eccles, you don't know the half of it!
Who gets sat next to one the train or bus too?

Minty, you put your feet up and have some 'me' time x
I have done absolutely nothing today. Apart from open the door for cats who have permanent "wrong side of the door" syndrome.
A revolving door BM is wot is required.
I have a horrible fluey cold so feeling sorry for myself.
I've had an Indian meal that did that to me too, Eccles.
I went for a 8 mile run off road today. It was fabulous. Not much snow, sun shining brightly. Ended up stripping down to just a t-shirt on my top half!
You're kidding, I'll freeze!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I should start on tomorrow's hangover soon.
Just read that back, I did have my legging on!
I had to get up early to take my little granddaughter to school. The new cot was being delivered to my son's house so his partner had to be in the receive it. New baby girl is arriving in May.

Walked the dog, vacuumed and did the bathroom.
We'll believe you Ten x

BM, starting early on tomorrow's hangover sounds like a blooming good idea.
I thought there are two leg holes in leggings, or were you hopping it ;)
O Gawd, Nibble, my brains must have got colder than I thought, LEGGINGS!!!!

Sharingan, get under the duvet and watch some crappy TV.

Barmaid, that sounds like an excellent plan!

Tenrec, it's beautiful here too....to look at from the warmth and comfort of my office chair.....too friggin' cold to venture out into though (with or without leggings!)
By the way, what did you eat, Eccles?
As the sun is shining but it's a tad chilly I wanted to go for a bike ride but in this breeze my face would be streaming so I've been for a swim instead (ex HM Forces now do so for free at my local baths).
Have paid to have two sets of glasses re-glazed with a company online, have used them before, £70 for both pairs, unbeatable value. They'll be back in 5 days.
Took the car to have the exhaust looked at, just the back box gone. Was looking at worst case scenario so it'll be £80 instead of £280, so that's a bonus, so mustn't grumble.
our local baths have been flattened :-(
