Direct Choice
Well I followed the advice of all those online money saving expert people, when your renewal quote comes through, they tell you to go on a compariosn website and have a look, then if you find a cheaper quote, ring your insurers and try to get a deal. Well Direct Choice couldn't give two hoots about any competitive quite, their attitude is, well go elsewhere then. The guy I've just spoken to was totally uninterested in retaining me as a customer. He didn't even make any attempt to look at any other options. Has anyone any idea how I can approach Direct Choice differently to get them to make a reduction?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Dot, you normally have a month to look around before your new Policy starts, my advice would be, Sod them, Loyalty means bugger all, so start looking around, My old Insurance though they could put mine up £60+, that's what the THOUGHT, I THOUGHT different, searched around, I got it £60 cheaper for near enough the same, but if you decide to change make sure you check all your cover.
I'll try online then, must admit Direct Choice are complete numpties, got an email yesterday saying they are settling the claim as the other driver was 100% at fault (I wasn't even in my parked car when she rammed it) but they blame the delay on my failure to disclose the modifications on my car, namely the tinted windows and alloy wheels. I sent them an email back saying the reason I didn't notify them about the alloys and the tinted windows was because my car does not have alloys and tinted windows. They rang this morning to apologise for the error, they had mixed my car up with another car. Great.
