House Insuranse
Our House Insurance is due for renewing but with quiet a hefty premium. Have got some comparison quotes for quite a lot less but what I am looking for is not the cheapest but a good response if some thing goes wrong and their services are needed. The 2 companies we a looking at are John Lewis and Saga. Has anyone had any experience with either of these 2 claim wise and if so how good were they. If anyone has any other company they would recommend when the chips are down would appreciate any help.

I've had good experience with household insurance via Nationwide, and with the Halifax. I agree with you, it's not the premium price which is important, it's the service they provide when you need it.
I've had good experience with Nationwide to the extent that I just renew with them now, blow the cost. (That's not to say they are expensive; I just don't compare any more).
You only call upon your insurance company when you're in trouble. That's not the time you want hassle and I think that's your attitude, too.
