Some People Are Just Totally Savage!!

One of the ladies I look after, the sweetest gentlest lady,now in her 80, she doesn't talk due to severe learning disabilities. We had an optician in to do eye tests as she is going blind. Well that can be easily sorted if we can give her a little sedation to help her calm down, so she can leave the building as she is severely agoraphobic. I was discussing this person with my Manager.

It was explained, that when she came into the home many years ago she had to have operations on her gums, she was very badly sexually abused as a child and someone ripped all her teeth out to stop her biting!!

Some people are so vile and evil they need the same doing to them!!

chaptazbru2, she gets a great amount of love, she is quite a favourite among the staff. We just hope they can sort her sight out, just cataracts, but not such an easy job for someone as severely mentally disabled as she is.

When I worked in a home for severe learning disabilities and forensic and violence issues etc, every one of the female residents there had been sexually abused, some far, far worse than others!! it really is sickening!!!

Ratter.....I read many of your threads without commenting. However, I am Not letting this one pass without saying that, in my opinion, you are one of the kindest persons who posts in AB.

You have Not had everything going as easily as perhaps it could have been, but you have a wonderful way of disregarding your problems and doing all you can to help folk.......along with animals; who, as you rightly intimate, Do Not behave in vile and evil manners as some, so called human beings.

What more can I say. I go along with all earlier posters.

soon people will be saying maliciously that half the witness stories about Jimmy Savile cannot be corroborated in any way because known facts get in the way ( you know like we know he was in X when he was said to be abusing in Y )
