Cancellation Of Insurance Policy Due To Bad Driving
4 Answers
My son is having his insurance cancelled by his insurance company on the 31st of this month due to him not driving safely enough according to his telematics box. My question is, if he cancels his insurance before they do, is he leagally intitled to answer the question on his next insurance policy that he "has not had insurance declined/cancelled previously? Thank you

I will of course make him be honest when searching for a new insurance company, however he is not due for a renewal of his policy until September so they are cancelling this early so he has not technically had a renewal declined. He has spoken to them this morning and they have basically said that if he cancels before they do then he can go elsewhere to get insured and does not have to say he is having his insurance cancelled, I am just a little concerned that the advisor might not have given the correct information and was therefore trying to find out if anyone knew for sure where he would stand
