Car Insurance Query
I intend to sell my current car and not plan to buy another. Basically give up owning another. I am still paying insurance premiums. I think I have another 5 months to pay. Will I have to continue paying. What would the insurance company require as proof I don’t own the car, and that I have given up driving. It’s a personal thing. I havn’t been advised to give up driving on medical or other grounds.

From Citizens Advice:
"If you want to cancel your policy after the cooling-off period you should check your insurance policy. Most insurers will give you a refund if you have not made any claims during the policy year but you will usually have to pay administration fees."
