Good P Morning Tuesday Birds!
No it's not early, I was up till gone 4 am doing god knows what lastnight lol. Looks like yesterday mornings lovely blue sky was short- lived as today it's back to dark, grey and wet.
Yesterday I went to the P.O to post a parcel, to get some stamps and to post 3 cards to Australia. I was absolutely stunned to find that it would cost £1.65(1st class) to post a card just a mile up the road, but just £2.08 to post the same card all the way round the world to Australia!! How is that even possible? So yes I posted my 3 card for just £2.08 each, and I bought 2nd class stamps for the few I have to get for 85p each. Complete madness!
Apart from that I'm sending rest of cards today, and then wrapping the presents that I need to get in the post too. Lots of the usual every day nonsense to do too! Plus work and debating what on earth to do for dinner - life's daily chore lol.

Flippancy aside, just been for my diabetic eye test, everything okay but I hate the drops. Eyesight is still not totally right one hour later. Just had to buy another book of stamps, I wouldn't mind so much if the post round here was efficient.
Looking forward to spending the rest of the day inside, in the warmth, as it is quite sharp here. Might just curl up with a book, and have a totally self indulgent day. What doesn't get done today will have to wait until tomorrow!
lol morming (or afternoon lol) alba & calda. Yes. Could well be the subconscious 'P'! : )
Still trying to psych myself up to write these cards out - the amount of people who aren't sending any this year. Tbh I don't blame them - I'm only really sending to children and a couple of other relatives. Funnily enough I've just received a card from my ex-husbands parents lol! Haven't seen them for 20 years, yet she still sends me & hubby a card. She never remembers my surname tho so just writes my name on the envelope, and then my address lol.
Good afternoon, been out to get my tatty nails done, it was a very cold walk. Went to put washing out, got 3 things on the line and it started to rain!
I got my overseas cards posted yesterday and have to hope they get there. The envelope contained 3 cards, and 2 money wallet cards and that only cost £4.50.
Unfortunately I have been very disorganised this year and will have to go into town tomorrow to buy some more.
