No insurance but wasnt driving the car... yet had it seized
ok so i went out in bournmouth and had a few drinks, i realised i was gonna be over the limit to drive home.. so i jumped in my car had the engine on for a while to warm up turned it off and went to sleep... About 20minutes later i was awoken by an undercover police man... He said he'd seen the engine on drove past twice then on the third time saw the engine off and spoke with me... after agreeing that i hadnt driven the vechicle and that i had no insurance he seized the vechicle, and breathlised me.. which i knew would fail, and did... He said i am not gonna get done for drink driving only for not having no insurance... in the seziure notice it sayes was driven by you adam blah blah without there being a valid certificate of insurance in respect of that vechicle... only the police crossed out driven. so it has deetails on my car and reads "was by you adam blah blah .without there being a valid certificate of insurance in force in respect of that vechicle
1 can i get done for no insurance if i wassnt driving the car?
2 i have 6 points for 2 speeding offecnes what do you think i'm likely to get?
3 can i use a loophole in that the seziure document has been changed and no longer makes sense? were they aloud to seize the car?

Obviously you had no insurance when you drove to the pub and the car must have insurance if it is on a public road and not even moving.
