I have booked a holiday with 1st choice and their insurance seems to cover everything plus there is no excess charge if (god forbid) you need to make a claim, the cost of the insurance itself is 35 each so thats 70 for the 2 of us. We're going to Margarita in June so does anyone know of a good travel ins company that does insurance prehaps slightly cheaper? Thanks

blimey, there are loads that will do it cheaper, in fact, i would say almost every one! you could cover yourself for a year if you are healthy for that price!
Yes, a google search, Travel Supermarket, Aig, Rock and numerous others will get you a far better deal. I got an annual policy for worldwide cover, trips up to 31 days for 2 people for 65. 70 for one holiday is a lot.
I am currently on an annual insurance with insureandgo. In past have used direct-travel and actually had to claim with them. I do have an excess though so that will make a difference.
