Ford Escort - wheel/engine/brake problems ??
Hi
Anyone help please or offer some advice ? just went for a drive down to the shop, when coming back all of a sudden the car seemed to get jumpy , almost like a stall ,or as if the clutch was slipping but eventually got home and it does look seem a problem with the drivers front wheel, Ive taken it off to have a look to see if anything obvious like something stuck in there, but nothing there - my daughter came out and had a look ,with me in the car and thought the wheel was shaking as I was going back and fore outside the house.
For quite a while now when switching off the engine, theres been a sort of tamping sound coming from the front drivers side ,(almost like a ball bouncing?) - any idea what could be the problem please, I don't go far anyway, but its a mile or two to the garage and could be a nightmare journey if I have to go there ?
