Relax, Becks...!! I'm with Tesco motor insurance too, and they seem very customer-friendly and on-the-ball. Since one year's no-claims-bonus amounts to 10% of the calculated premium, in all probability they'll simply inform you in due course that there's a slight discrepancy with your friend's NCD, and they have to charge a little more to account for the difference in the premium. In these days of cut-throat commercial competition, I can't believe that any experienced Customer Services Manager with a High Street company would want to cancel an otherwise legitimate policy, lose a good customer and leave a bad taste in your mouth (and that of all your friends and relatives) for the sake of a minor mistake and about �50...!!
