MOT Expired

Hi there,

I was driving on a two lane dual carriage way and in the right hand land approaching an inland to go straight on. A driver in the left and land was travelling at the same distance as me and in line with my car and suddenly turned right into my car as we are both approaching the exit. I know its for the insurers to decide but I have just realised my MOT is out by a 7 days... What can I expect ?

Unlikely you'll be asked for MOT cert if the damage is repairable. If your car is written off though, you'll be asked to provide V5 and MOT for valuation purposes. Expect a reduced offer if this is the case.

thats why they give you a sticker on the new style mot to remind you when its due
