Does anyone know of a good affordable home content cover? We are going away on holiday for two months from December and dont have any cover... Should get that done b4 we go... any recommedations?

I use Nationwide, it's about �10 a month for �15,000 cover which is the cheapest I found which you can monthly.
Every policy has a max. limit on the number of days continuously unoccupied. Some policies are 30 days, some are 60 days. Be aware before you buy if you are planning a long holiday (or make arrangements for someone to stay in it).
with all the thieves about all year round,i cant believe you are not covered.
It depends on your profile - location , type of policy , claims history , what you want to include , security etc etc .
That is why you have to complete a proposal form containing , scores of questions

One company that is reasonable for one proposer might not be so reasonable for another proposer .
