I want some insurance for my grand-daughters belongings, books, clothes etc. and laptop,printer etc. when she moves into a rented/shared house, who are the best people to deal with and about how much will it be. I have looked on the various gocompare, confused.com but they all want home details as well. HELP

If the home she normally resides in already has contents insurance, the insurance company may cover your grand daughters possessions under that policy up to a certain limit of usually 20% of contents sum insured to a maximum of �5,000. Alot of insurers do this at no extra charge but limits may differ depending on who the insurers are. Will be worth asking them about this cover.
