One seater cars and Road Tax issues

Would a one seater car capable of say 30mph require road tax if it was electric?

Would it need an MOT / numberplates / lights insurance becasue of the speed

Does anyone know of such a vehicle?

Many people have built three-wheeler, single-seaters. I think they are classed as motor cycles.

You would get away with road tax and the London congestion charge but nothing else.

It would need everything else as a normal car does., plus it would be very expensive to buy.

The C5 flopped after it's launch and in winter the tires couldn't grip the roads and they were like a sledge.

Also lorries could not see them in busy town traffic situations.

Saying all that though I would still like to ride one and see what they were like.
