Hello.
So I've been asking my parents and my friends about. how much will it cost for a 17years old girl to get licence? but my parents and my mates got different answers. my friends says it will cost about 200-300 per [i dont know] and parents says quite alot because im young.
well im still 14 and there's gonna be loads of changes probebly but still i wanna start saving money. because my parents said they not realy paying for me.

getting a liscence dosent cost that much money unless you are counting lessons, in which case it will be a lot more. you pay 50 pounds for a provisional and then its free to upgrade when you pass

Driving lessons are in the region of �25 per hour and it is impossible to say how many lessons you will need.

Theory test is �30
Practical test is �56.50 (more at weekends) plus the cost of a two hour lesson - another �50.

When you pass you will want a car of your own - currently you will easily pay �1500 for one year's insurance, plus road tax.

So, �50 provisional licence
Theory test �30
Driving test �56.50
Plus 2 hour lesson - �100

That is nearly �240 before you even have a lesson. It's going to cost a lot more than �300 at today's prices.

A coarse fishing licence costs �25. A colour TV licence costs �139.50.

A fishing license? You seem a bit young to be fishing. Why dont you plan for a driving licence instead, much nicer and at the end of the day you don't smell like an old haddock. Unlike me, because sadly I do. Or is it cod, I get so confused at my age.
