Hi my car was stolen and recovered and still now with the police checking my insrance iv since found out i failed to let them know about 3 points for ts10 traffic lights would this cause me a problem should i claim cheers Dave...

May be a minor increase in premium so long as that is all you failed to disclose - i.e you have declared any modifications, correct risk address, correct occupation, correct mileage covered, any other claims, etc, etc. Obviously the extra premium (assuming there will be any) will depend on your age, prev claims and convictions, etc (again).

It's a reasonably minor traffic offence - we wouldn't hold up a claim if that was all that was undisclosed, although underwriting would be informed.

Don't forget that each case is dealt with on it's own merits, so there is bound to be one reply where someone got charged �100, someone whose policy was cancelled / claim refused, ect

Yes thanks for the advice..I managed to contact the insurance before i acutally claimed and told them about the points payed the extra and that was that the ball is nowrolling to hopfully get my car fixed thanks for the reply all the best Dave...
we often get claims held up for non-declaration of points,(minor offences) as yet never known a claim to be thrown out.
