My existing policy runs out on our last day away so I was thinking of obtaining quotes for a further year with a different company.
Will I need to renew?
If we did need any cover after that date even if issues happened before the final run out date, would the old or new company take over after the run out date, if we did need there cover for any health issues thanks Tez

I think you may find that any travel policy needs to be in force when you start your journey - a renewal should be OK but you would need to check it out with any new company to ensure you had full cover on your last day
you should be okay if you're cover ends on the day you're due to return IE

if it ends Sun 19th, and that's when your flights due back into the UK you'd be covered. If you were delayed until 20th, it wouldn't be your fault, and they'd get you back.

it's always worth shopping around. The post office have an annual family insurance cover for Europe for 80.
plenty of good deals on the internet
