Motor Insurance for visitor from France
My son visits me regularly from France and each time I pay a fee to include him on my motor insurance. I t has occurred to me that perhaps he could be covered to drive in the UK by his own motor insurance policy with his French company. Anyone any idea if this might be possible?

This means his insurance company will not insure him for driving a car in UK.
I suggest you do as hopkirk says and put him on your insurance as a named driver.
