Getting copies of HND certificates

Back in the eighties, I successfully completed a HND course and walked straight into a job. I never went back to collect a certificate and the college is now a University.

How do you go about getting old certificates? Should I start at the university or do I need to know and contact the examining body.

I'm also hoping to find O and A level certificates in the loft but may need to get new copies of these too.

In this case, the school no longer exists and I have no clue as to the examination board at the time, it being even further back in the dark ages.

Anyone help me here please?

Who was the awarding body on your certificates? - they will be the place to contact, they will have your records or at least should have some record that you passed.
