Hello,

I was wondering if you could help me. I would like to become a roofer. What would be the best course of action to take to become one? Please note that I am 34 years old...

Many thanks for any suggestions as to which entry route to take.

thanks!

My only observation is that roofing is a younger person's game because it is quite physically demanding and requires working out in the elements. You have to consider whether you are still going to be capable of doing it in 10-15 years time. Roofers I've come across seem to rely on a 'mate' a lot once they get to mid-40s. I reckon most get into it 10 years or more earlier than you are contemplating.
