Letting Agency....

I'd like to start a letting agency in my area where I know the market is healthy and thriving. I have no previous experience in letting however and I've seen theres a few courses to get me through the basics, the form filling and legal jargon. I was just wondering if anyone has ever worked as a letting agent or tried to start their own letting agency and if they could give me some tips or advice on how to start up?....thanks :)
