I'm 54 years old and had to have a lower leg amputation in June 06, as a fully qualified (National and International) Transport Manager (with a BSC Transport Management degree) and ex lorry driver I would like to get off my arse and retrain in a computer repairs or something in that line.
All I can get info on is courses that will cost me and I would like some advise on grants for the disabled.
Thank you

You need to talk to the Disability Employment Advisor at your local Jobcentre (number in your local phonebook). They should be able to help you access the training you want and talk to you about what funding help is available.

Good luck.
