People are always wanted to work in charity shops, befriend housebound people, administration, conservation work, etc, etc. Something like this could get you out of the house, you may be able to take your child with you to some places, and you would make valuable contacts for future employment.
It could also ease you back into a work environment. Evening shifts could mean you have less time to spend with your partner, which is a shame if he's at work all day too!
Good luck.

i would consider some sort of evening work during the week as then you could still have your weekends with your family.
i made the mistake of offering to work weekends with my employer as we have a 17 month old girl .its a nightmare as me and my man hardly have a weekend together!!
but good luck. radio. xx

I'm really sorry to hear that you aren't fulfilled & happy enough, looking after your children. I think this is what's going wrong these days. However, if you could just hold out a little longer, whilst your children need you the most - why not do a home study course, so that the hopefully-gained qualification will get you a better and well-paid job once your family are at school? I've been in the same position as you, but decided that my children's needs came first. How well this turned out - so best of luck to you.
You could try something such as dog-sitting or walking, i think there are various web sites and you could take baby for a walk in the pram too.
Other than that why not train for something that can also be useful to work from home such as floristry, you could work in florists and then do private commissions such as weddings etc. the same with hairdressing or beauticians things along that line because you can work local at peoples houses.
good luck I was the same i had a 2 year old and new born and I loved them to bits but I stil just needed a little time out not just from them but to actually feel that I was me again and worth something.
